The Opportunities & Pathways Golf Classic is built on a simple mission: using basketball to create opportunities and pathways for youth to pursue their academic and career goals.
Right now, nearly 1 in 2 Canadian families say cost is keeping their kids out of organized sport (Jumpstart, 2025). A decade ago it was 1 in 3. The trend is moving in the wrong direction, and every kid priced out of sport is priced out of everything the game unlocks: confidence, community, education, career.
The OP Golf Classic brings together people who believe access to sport can open up education and career possibilities for youth. That’s why we play. -
